Resolution 2023-05: Award of Help Me Grow Contract
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on June 13, 2023 to approve Resolution 2023-05 authorizing the Executive Director enter into an agreement with The Arc Gateway to implement the Escambia County Help Me Grow Collaborative for the amount of $1,355,536.
Resolution 2023-03: Strategic Planning
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on March 14, 2023, to approve Option 1 of Resolution 2023-03 authorizing the Executive Director to enter into negotiations and contracts with idgroup to pay up to $112, 802 to facilitate strategic planning for the Trust.
Resolution 2023-01: Out-of-School Time Program
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on February 14, 2023 to approve Resolution 2023-01 authorizing the Executive Director to enter into negotiations and contracts with Out-Of-School Time Providers to provide services to Escambia County children and youth. Resolution 2022-20: Legal Services of North Florida, Sole-Source Special Community Initiative
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on December 13, 2022 to approve amended Resolution 2022-20 authorizing the Executive Director to enter into negotiations and contracts with Legal Services of North Florida to pay up to $617,034 to provide expanded representation for children in the dependency and educational systems.
Resolution 2022-17: Award of Bid for Family Resource Guide
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on October 11, 2022 to approve Resolution 2022-17 authorizing the Executive Director to enter into an agreement with Kessler Creative, LLC to pay up to $51,580 to provide services in response to ITB 2022-03: Family Resource Guide.
Resolution 2022-16: Agenda Management, Meeting and Public Records Platform
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on October 11, 2022 to approve Resolution 2022-16 authorizing the Executive Director to enter into an agreement with Prime Gov to pay up to $32,641 to provide a robust, cloud-based Agenda Management, Live Meeting & Public Records Request Platform.
Resolution 2022-15: Award of Contract for Audit Services
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on October 11, 2022 to approve Resolution 2022-15 authorizing the Executive Director to enter into an agreement with Brown, Thornton, Pacenta & Company, P.A., to provide services in response to ITB 2022-01: Audit Services for $20,500.
Resolution 2022-08: Acceptance of Bid for MIP Fund Accounting Solution
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on September 13, 2022 to approve Resolution 2022-08 authorizing the Executive Director to enter into an agreement with Community Brands to pay up to $35,000 for the purchase, implementation, and use of the MIP Fund Accounting platform, which will integrate with the fiscal component of SAMIS.
Resolution 2022-07: Acceptance of Sole-Source Vendor for Online Data Management System – SAMIS
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on September 13, 2022 to approve Resolution 2022-07 authorizing the Executive Director to enter into an agreement with Webauthor and the Florida Alliance of Children’s Councils and Trusts (FAACT) for the purchase, implementation, and use of the Services and Activities Management Information System (SAMIS) platform, which was developed primarily for use by government agencies and children’s services councils, at a cost of $58,500.
Resolution 2022-12: Community Health of Northwest Florida: Matching Grant
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on September 13, 2022 to accept staff recommendations to enter into an agreement with Community Health of Northwest Florida to fund the unsolicited application for a matching grant in the amount of $72,837 to provide up to a 1:3 match of funding from the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration, effective October 1, 2022-September 30, 2023.
Resolution 2022-10: Children’s Home Society, Sole-Source Special Community Initiative
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on September 13, 2022 to accept staff recommendations to enter into an agreement with Children’s Home Society to fund their unsolicited sole-source community initiative proposal in the amount of $77,658 to fund personnel to replicate their successful Community Partnership School model at Pine Forest High School, effective October 1, 2022-September 30, 2025, subject to the Trust’s annual budget and TRIM process. The grant will complement a $225,000 legislative appropriation to CHS managed by the University of Central Florida.
Resolution 2022-09: Early Learning Coalition of Escambia County, Matching Grant
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on September 13, 2022 to accept staff recommendations to fund the unsolicited application for a matching grant in the amount of $238,875 to provide up to a 1:1 match of funding from the Florida Division of Early Learning, effective October 1, 2022-September 30, 2023.
Kindergarten Summer Bridge RFP
The Board of Directors for the Escambia Children’s Trust voted on June 14, 2022 to accept the Grants Committee’s recommendations to fund the proposals submitted by the following applicants at the amounts listed.
